For a fresh new approach in 2023, competitive riders can participate in a ‘Non-NRS’ race which replaces the traditional division and ‘Challenge’ categories. The historical format of graded options with separate convoys for riders has become increasingly difficult to sustain due to the resourcing and financial challenges required to stage a major cycling event on our country’s public roads.
