Grafton to Inverell des Femmes Continues to Grow in Strength

The 2018 David Reid Homes Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic will again feature a category for female riders following the success of the inaugural Regional Australia Bank Grafton to Inverell des Femmes in 2017. The event provides an opportunity for women to take on Australia’s toughest one day cycling race of 228km under the same conditions as the men.


Strong Fields Assembled for Classic

The 58th David Reid Homes Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic will be conducted on Saturday 12th of May. In excess of 350 riders will take part in the iconic 228km cycle race between Grafton and Inverell. The race is the opening round of the Cycling Australia National Road Series (NRS) and features the leading domestic riders in Australia and New Zealand. Major contenders will include 2016 winner Pat Lane (Vic), previous podium finisher and dual Melbourne to Warrnambool winner Nathan Elliot (Vic), previous King of the Mountain Classification winner Sam Crome (Vic) and Commonwealth Games Track Gold medallist Alex Porter (SA).
