Grafton to Inverell Open
Event Information
Take on Australia’s toughest one day cycling classic – 228km with 3382m of climbing! Competitive cyclists of all levels (over U19) are invited to race the Grafton to Inverell Open (re-named from ‘Non-NRS’) and be part of G2I history.
Entry Fee
Individual Entry
Early bird – $225 (enter before 3 March, 2024)
Normal – $250 (closing date 16 April, 2024)
Team Entry (3 – 5 riders)
Early Bird – Each individual’s entry fee ($225) x number of riders (enter before 3 March, 2024)
Normal – Each individual’s entry fee ($250) x number of riders (closing date 16 April, 2024)
Team Guidelines:
Teams consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 riders.
Teams can enter in the following categories:
- Men Open
- Women Open
- Mixed Open
- Men 50+ years
- Women 50+ years
- Mixed 50+ years
Mixed teams must comprise of at least 1 female rider.
All team members in the 50+ categories must be 50 years and over.
Open teams can include riders of any age (19 years and above).
Registration
Friday 26 April, 2024 – 4:00pm – 6:00pm – Toast Espresso, Prince St, Grafton.
Start Time
7.25am – Saturday April 27, 2024 – Grafton

Individual – Men/Women (eligible for all riders)
- Overall – 1st – 3rd
- 19 – 29 years – 1st – 3rd
- 30 – 39 years – 1st – 3rd
- 40 – 49 years – 1st – 3rd
- 50 – 59 years – 1st – 3rd
- 60 – 69 years – 1st – 3rd
- 70 + years – 1st – 3rd
- King of the Mountain Classification
- Sprint Classification

Team Results
Team results for each category are determined from the cumulative time of the first 3 team members to finish.
In the case of Mixed teams, the time will be taken from the cumulative time of the first 3 team members to finish that includes at least 1 female rider.
Age Categories
Age Categories for this event are as per 2024 ages effective from 1st January 2024.
