Challenge

Challenge

‘Challenge’ Category Open to All Riders!

The Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic is reputably the toughest one-day cycling race in the country with 3383m of climbing throughout the 228km journey. It is also a unique event experience with closed roads, live radio coverage and plenty of community support along the road.

The Grafton to Inverell Challenge is not a race but an opportunity to take on the challenge of completing this epic event! It is open to riders who believe they can complete the course within the cut-off time of 9hrs 30 mins.

The unique event experience will include:

  • Fully supported racing conditions including closed roads and support vehicles
  • Electronic timing
  • Two supported ‘Feed Stations’ on course
  • Two supported ‘Water Refreshment Stations’ on course
  • Mobile feeding from the Gibraltar Range to the Mount Mitchell Feed Station
  • Free competitor shirt
  • Finisher’s medallion
  • Complimentary ticket to the event presentation dinner
  • ‘Pace Riders’ to assist riders in completing the event before the cut-off time

Don’t miss the chance to share the experience with Australia’s leading riders, earn your finisher’s medallion and swap stories at the presentation dinner!
