Grafton to Inverell Partners with TAD NSW’s Freedom Wheels

The Grafton to Inverell is pleased to announce a new charity partner! TAD NSW’s Freedom Wheels enable kids with disabilities to ride a bike just like their peers.

Event Director, Chris Thompson, said “The Grafton to Inverell is a very challenging event so we like to support other great initiatives to overcome challenges, especially when it gets kids riding bikes. We believe every child deserves the chance to ride a bike.”

Living with cerebral palsy a bright and bubbly 4-year-old Avalon can enjoy the freedom of riding a bike thanks to Freedom Wheels.

“It is so inclusive for her to be going to the park and being just one of the many kids there riding their bikes” said Avalon’s mother.

10-year-old Riley loves the Roosters, karate and is living with cerebral palsy, his twin brother Bradley isn’t. Unable to ride a standard bike like his brother, Riley was restricted to watching from the sidelines.

Now Riley and his twin brother Bradley can ride together thanks to Freedom Wheels.

“With his bike, Riley can be part of the gang. It gives him freedom to go” says Riley and Bradley’s mother.

You too can support kids like Avalon and Riley by using your Grafton to Inverell challenge to fundraise for Freedom Wheels. Go to http://GraftontoInverellCycleClassic.gofundraise.com.au to get started.
